You trace how school choice and homeschool growth are accelerating across red states. Millions of families are pulling funding and students from district systems, creating real pressure for change. Restoring agency to parents delivers the repeatable edge that keeps showing up in the data.

I teach in a Virginia Beach public school. The sad truth is that district policies are not designed to accomodate students, but benefit administrators. They run schools like detention centers, as far as I can tell; the kids are depressed! It is asserted that school policies are "student centered", but they are designed to keep kids locked down as much as and for as long as possible. Schools start too early and classes are way too long. It seems one of the easiest fixes that would improve student's educational experience but nobody has the balls to change it.
